Two Women Injured in Clinton Township Two-Vehicle Wreck on Routes 15 and 54
Clinton Township, Pennsylvania (February 18, 2018) – Two women were injured, one critically, when a car collided with a tractor-trailer on Saturday morning in Clinton Township.
According to Pennsylvania State Police, the crash occurred at around 11:30 a.m. Saturday, February 17, at the intersection of Routes 15 and 54.
Police said a Mazda traveling west on Route 54 was involved in a collision with a tractor-trailer hauling concrete walls.
The driver of the Mazda, a Montgomery area woman, was in cardiac arrest when Ems crews arrived at the scene and performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation on her.
The woman was then transported to Geisinger Medical Center in Danville with critical injuries.
The driver of the truck, an Ontario, Canada woman, was transported to UPMC Susquehanna Williamsport Regional Medical Center with unknown injuries.
Police are conducting an investigation to determine the cause of the crash.
