Carroll Township, Pennsylvania (February 22, 2018) – A trash collector was killed following a two-vehicle crash Thursday morning in Carroll Township, Perry County, police said.

The fatal crash took place at around 6:00 a.m. Thursday, February 22, in the 7100 block of Spring Road in the area of Victory Lane.

According to police, the trash collector was killed at the scene when a car struck the back of a garbage truck in Perry County this morning.

Both lanes of Spring Road between Sleepy Hollow Road and Dellville Road were shut as a result of the collision.
