Timothy Stanley Hospitalized after Hit-And-Run Crash on Route 422 in Wyomissing

Wyomissing, Pennsylvania (August 28, 2018) – A man was hospitalized after a crash involving a hit-and-run driver on Tuesday morning in Wyomissing, according to the police.

The crash happened at around 5:30 a.m. on Route 422 near State Hill Road.

Wyomissing police said Timothy Stanley, 44, of Birdsboro, was driving a motorcycle when he saw traffic stopped ahead and tried to lay his bike down.

Timothy and his passenger, Jennifer Stanley, 43, were both ejected onto the pavement.

Police said a vehicle traveling behind the riders struck Timothy and continued traveling without checking on the victim.

Timothy was transported to Reading Hospital with injuries to his leg.

The police are conducting an investigation into the crash.
