Several People Hurt in Philadelphia Two-Vehicle Crash at Frankford Avenue and Orthodox Street
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (February 20, 2018) – Several people were hospitalized following a crash between a commuter bus and tractor-trailer early Tuesday morning in Philadelphia.
The crash took place at about 5:30 a.m. at the intersection of Frankford Avenue and Orthodox Street.
A SEPTA Route 5 bus was traveling northbound when it crashed into a tractor-trailer that was attempting to make a turn onto Frankford Avenue.
15 passengers onboard the bus were transported to Einstein Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the bus was transported to Jefferson Torresdale Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police are conducting an investigation to determine the cause of the crash.
