Windsor Man Robert Rothrock IV Dies in Springettsbury Township Car Crash near Mount Zion and Whiteford Roads
Springettsbury Township, Pennsylvania (September 14, 2018) – The man who was killed in a crash between two vehicles in Springettsbury Township on Wednesday evening has been identified as Robert Rothrock IV, 66, of Windsor, according to the York County Coroner’s Office.
The crash took place at around 3:40 p.m. Wednesday, September 12 near Mount Zion and Whiteford Roads.
The investigators said the collision happened when a Toyota Corolla heading north on Mount Zion Road made a left turn in front of a southbound Ford F-150 pickup truck.
Rothrock was a passenger in the Corolla and was not wearing a safety belt. He was taken to York Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
There were several injuries reported from the crash.
The Springettsbury Township Police are conducting an investigation into the incident.
