Pittsburgh, PA: Head-On Crash at North Dallas Avenue and Bennett Street in Homewood

Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania (September 24, 2018) – A bus driver was critically injured in a head-on crash which also left five other people hospitalized Monday morning in the city’s Homewood West neighborhood.

The crash happened shortly after 12:00 a.m. near the intersection of North Dallas Avenue and Bennett Street.

According to the Port Authority Police, an SUV ran a stop sign and crashed head-on into a Port Authority bus.

The bus driver suffered critical injuries and was taken to a hospital.

The SUV driver and four passengers on the bus were also transported to the hospital where they were listed in moderate condition.

The Port Authority police are investigating the crash.
