Lancaster Man and Holtwood Woman Killed in Lancaster County Collision
East Donegal Township, Pennsylvania (January 22, 2018) – A motorcycle collision Saturday evening in East Donegal Township, Lancaster County claimed two lives, according to a police report.
The fatal incident happened at around 5:49 p.m. Saturday, January 20, at the intersection of Colebrook Road and Donegal Springs Road,
Police reported that 31-year-old Nathan Kilby, of Lancaster, was driving the motorcycle along Colebrook Road when it “t-boned” the truck at the intersection of Donegal Springs Road.
Kilby and his passenger, Lauren Rickabaugh, 31, of Holtwood, were declared deceased at the scene while the driver of the truck was unharmed.
A Lancaster County Coroner said that an external medical examination done on Monday to determine the cause of the death of Kilby and Rickabaugh showed that both died of multiple traumatic injuries, hence, their deaths were ruled accidental.
An investigation into the deadly collision remained underway.
