Krista Phillips, Cherise Kovack, Rome Trimble Among 5 Injured in 2-Vehicle Accident on Route 222 near Blackburn Road near Quarryville
Drumore Township, Pennsylvania (September 24, 2018) – Five people were injured in a head-on crash between two vehicles with multiple entrapments on Saturday morning near Quarryville.
According to the authorities, the wreck happened at around 11:40 a.m. Saturday, September 22 on Route 222 near Blackburn Road in Drumore Township.
The front right tire of a car driven by Krista D. Phillips, 23, of Oxford, blew out causing her to lose control and collided with a pickup truck driven by Clifford E. Henderson, 57, of New Holland.
Philips sustained critical injuries while one of her passengers, Rome T. Trimble, 29, of Quarryville, was in fair condition. They were both taken to Lancaster General Hospital for treatment.
A second passenger in Philips’ vehicle, Tiffany L. Adams, 29, of Oxford, was transported to LGH with injuries suspected to be serious.
Henderson was also taken to Lancaster Hospital in fair condition while his passenger, Cherise J. Kovack, 61, of New Holland, was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
The incident is under investigation.
