Kevin Williams, 56, Victim in Bicycle Accident along Route 13 in Bristol Borough

Bristol Borough, Pennsylvania (December 20, 2017) – According to the Bristol Borough authorities, a bicyclist was killed by a hit-and-run motorist Tuesday night in Bristol Borough, Bucks County.

Police officers identified the victim as 56-year-old Kevin Williams.

The fatal incident occurred at precisely 8 p.m. Tuesday, December 19 along Route 13 near Corson Street.

Troopers said that Williams was struck and killed by a silver 2005-2010 Mercedes Benz AMG with an eagle emblem as he was riding home. Witnesses said that two vehicles appeared to be racing in the northbound lanes on Route 13 when one of the vehicles struck the cyclist. The suspect then fled the scene after the incident.

The vehicle is likely to have a front-end damage on the passenger side. A decorative license plate of an eagle believed to have come from the vehicle was found at the scene.

Authorities are investigating the cause of the fatal accident.
