Upper Moreland Man Edward Brostowicz Fatally Hit by Vehicle on Easton Road
Upper Moreland, Pennsylvania (February 21, 2018) – A man was fatally injured in an accident where a vehicle struck him early Tuesday morning in Upper Moreland, according to police.
The incident took place at about 3:30 a.m. Tuesday, February 20, on Easton Road near the entrance to the Pennsylvania Turnpike.
Police said the victim, identified as Edward Brostowicz, 31, of Upper Moreland, was hit by a commercial vehicle.
Brostowicz sustained severe injuries and was rushed to Abington/ Jefferson Health in Abington, where he was pronounced dead shortly after.
There were no details on the driver of the vehicle that struck him.
Police are conducting an investigation into the crash.
