Harrisburg Man Dylan Barton Killed in Manchester Township Motorcycle Wreck on I-83
Manchester Township, Pennsylvania (February 19, 2018) – A 25-year-old Harrisburg man was on Friday evening killed in a motorcycle accident in York County, according to Pennsylvania State Police.
The crash happened at around 5:15 p.m. Friday, February 16, on Interstate 83 at Mile Marker 23.
Police said Dylan Barton, 25, was driving a Honda CBR motorcycle behind a GMC Sierra that was traveling in the right lane northbound on I-83 when he attempted to pass the car and ended up striking its side. The motorcycle then hit the back of a pickup truck that was traveling in the left lane.
The impact ejected Barton from the motorcycle, threw him onto the concrete barrier before coming to a rest in the left travel lane.
Barton was transported to York hospital where he was later pronounced deceased.
No other injuries were reported.
