Blakeslee Woman Diamilatou Bah Fatally Hurt in Chestnuthill Crash on Route 115
Chestnuthill, Pennsylvania (February 20, 2018) – A Blakeslee woman was fatally injured in a two-vehicle accident on Monday afternoon in Monroe County, according to Pennsylvania State Police.
The wreck occurred shortly after 4 p.m. Monday, February 19, on Route 115 near Brodheadsville.
Police said a 17-year-old Bethlehem woman was driving an SUV when she crossed the centerline and collided with a Ford Explorer driven by Diamilatou Bah, 53, of Blakeslee.
Bah was killed in the crash. The other driver was hospitalized with serious injuries.
The crash led to the closure of Route 115 for approximately four hours as police examined the scene.
The crash is under investigation.
