Chester County, PA: Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Accident on Route 724 in North Coventry Township

Chester County, Pennsylvania (September 23, 2018) – A pedestrian was injured in a hit-and-run accident in Chester County Sunday morning, authorities said.

The accident occurred at about 8:30 a.m. in front of the Bellwood Country Club on Route 724.

According to North Coventry Township police, the 20-year-old man was walking eastbound on the south side of the roadway when he was hit by an eastbound vehicle.

The vehicle then continued to travel eastbound after hitting the man.

The unidentified man was taken to Pottstown Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The car may have sustained damage to the right side, police said.

An investigation into the crash is ongoing.  Anybody with information regarding the Hit-and-Run is urged to call the North Coventry Township Police Department.
