Bucks County, PA: 2-Vehicle Crash on Pennsylvania Turnpike in Lower Southampton Township

Bucks County, Pennsylvania (September 21, 2018) – One person was seriously injured Thursday night in a multi-vehicle collision in  Lower Southampton Township, Bucks County, according to a local news source.

The accident took place at about 10:30 p.m. Thursday, September 20 on the Pennsylvania Turnpike near mile marker 349.

As per the release, a car collided with a tractor-trailer on the eastbound lanes of the Pennsylvania Turnpike.

As a result of the collision, the car was wedged beneath the tractor-trailer.

One person sustained serious injuries in the crash.

No other injuries were reported.

Traffic was halted as the eastbound lanes were closed as emergency crews worked at the scene.
