Union Township, Pennsylvania (August 22, 2018) – A three-vehicle collision left three people hospitalized on Tuesday afternoon in Union Township.

According to the authorities, the wreck took place at Harbor Edinburg Road and Old Youngstown Road at about 1 p.m. on Tuesday, August 21.

Police said a car failed to stop for a stop sign at the intersection and crashed into a Chevy Blazer, sending it flying.

The emergency crews responded to the crash and extricated the driver of the car from the wreckage. The driver was then airlifted to St. Elizabeth’s Hospital for treatment.

A passenger in the car and the driver of the Chevy were both taken to Jameson Hospital.

Police said the driver of the car will be cited for failure to stop for a stop sign.
