Allentown, Pennsylvania (February 21, 2018) – Two pedestrians were hospitalized after being struck by a hit-and-run driver on Tuesday night in Allentown, according to police.

The crash happened at about 8:15 p.m. Tuesday, February 20, at Seventh and Allen Streets.

Police said a 20-year-old man and a 55-year-old woman were attempting to cross Seventh Street when they were hit by an SUV that was turning from Allen Street.

The vehicle then continued traveling southbound on Seventh Street.

The woman suffered moderate non-life-threatening injuries.  The man sustained minor injuries and the two were taken to a hospital.

Police are conducting an investigation into the crash.
