2 Drivers Killed in Two-Car Crash on Route 219 in Washington Township

Washington Township, Pennsylvania (September 18, 2018) – Two drivers were killed when their vehicles collided on Monday night in Washington Township, police said.

The fiery crash happened shortly after 7 p.m. Monday, September 17 on Route 219 between Falls Creek and Brockway.

CHP said a 32-year-old man was driving a Jeep Cherokee when he lost control and collided with a Toyota 4Runner that was being driven by a 33-year-old man.

Both drivers died at the scene of the crash.

A 34-year-old woman and a 3-year-old girl were both riding in Straub’s vehicle and suffered minor injuries. They were taken to Penn Highlands Hospital for treatment.

The police are working to find out the cause of the wreck.
