Driver Flees after Pottstown Pedestrian Crash on Beech Street
Pottstown, Pennsylvania (January 25, 2018) – The Pottstown Police Department is investigating a crash whereby an 11-year-old pedestrian was struck by a hit-and-run driver on Tuesday evening in Pottstown.
The crash happened at around 6:07 p.m. Tuesday, January 16, in the area of the Rickets Center at 658 Beech Street.
Police said a vehicle struck the child and continued traveling eastbound on Beech Street.
Details on the identity and condition of the child were not immediately revealed.
Police are looking for the driver of the vehicle, believed to be a dark-colored sedan involved in the crash.
