Exeter Township, Pennsylvania (January 23, 2018) – One person was killed in a two-vehicle collision on Tuesday afternoon, January 23, in Exeter Township in eastern Berks County

According to a report by the authorities, the collision occurred at around 1:30 p.m. on the eastbound side of Route 422 at Red Lane, just east of the Sheetz.

A pickup truck and a car were involved in the collision.

The impact of the collision sent the car off the roadway coming to rest in the front yard of a home.

One occupant of the car was killed in the collision.

The incident resulted in a temporary shutdown of Route 422 at Lincoln Road as the scene was cleared.
