White Deer Township, Pennsylvania (January 22, 2018) — One person was killed and two others injured in a 2-car crash Sunday afternoon in White Deer Township, Union County,

The deadly collision took place at around 2:20 p.m. Sunday, January 21, on Route 15, about a half a mile south of here, in White Deer Township.

Authorities said one person died as a result of the crash and two others sustained injuries and one of the victims was flown by Geisinger Medical Center’s LifeFlight helicopter from the scene.

The highway remained shut from Route 44 to White Deer Pike during an investigation.

Further details regarding the crash were not immediately available.
