One Injured in Lancaster Crash near South Queen Street and East Vine Street
Lancaster, Pennsylvania (August 27, 2018) – One person was hospitalized Monday morning after a traffic accident in Lancaster, according to a local news source.
The collision occurred just after 10:00 a.m. near South Queen and East Vine streets, in the area of the Southern Market Center.
As per the report, a pickup truck was traveling on the road when for an unknown reason it struck a ramp off the back of a vehicle making a delivery at a construction spot near the corner of Queen and Farnum streets.
The truck then crashed into two parked vehicles and flipped onto its side.
Police said there were five or six five-gallon buckets of paint in the truck’s bed. The two parked vehicles were splattered with paint. The sidewalk and the road were also splattered with the paint.
According to the police, the driver was transported to the hospital.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
