Salem County, Pennsylvania (January 30, 2018) – A woman was injured when she crashed her car into a stopped Pennsville Police vehicle on Friday night in Salem County, according to authorities.

The accident took place on Friday, January 26, on Route 49.

The officer had reportedly stopped and exited the patrol car to speak to another driver he had pulled over.

Another vehicle driven by a woman crashed into the stopped patrol car.

The woman sustained serious injuries.

The officer and the driver he had pulled over were not injured in the crash.
