Two Killed, Two Hospitalized after Wrong-Way Crash on I-95 in Bucks County

Bucks County, Pennsylvania (July 30, 2018) – Two people were killed and two others hospitalized after a wrong-way head-on collision Sunday morning in Pennsylvania, according to a police report.

The fatal collision took place at about 7:05 a.m. July 29, on Interstate 95, at mile marker 33.6.

As per the report, an unidentified Philadelphia man was driving northbound in the southbound lanes of Interstate 95 when he collided head-on with another vehicle.

The wrong-way driver died at the scene.

A passenger inside the car that was hit also died at the scene. The driver and another passenger were both taken to a hospital in unknown conditions.

State police said all three in the vehicle which was struck were New York residents.

The crash backed up traffic on Interstate 95 for several hours.

The lanes were later reopened at about noon.

Police are conducting the investigation.
