Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (August 30, 2018) – One driver was injured Friday afternoon in a two-car collision in Philadelphia, according to a local news source.

The accident occurred at about noon, Friday, August 24 at the intersection of Allegheny Street and Park Avenue.

Authorities said a Chevy HHR was heading eastbound on Allegheny Street when it failed to stop at a stop sign.

The Chevy then proceeded through the intersection and collided with a Ford F-150 pickup truck.

Paramedics responded to the scene and took one of the drivers to Meadville Medical Center with unspecified injuries.

An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
