Pedestrian Injured in Hit-And-Run Crash on North Charlotte Street in Lancaster

Lancaster, Pennsylvania (January 30, 2018) – According to a city police report, a man was injured after he was struck by a bust in Lancaster crosswalk Tuesday morning.

The accident happened at around 8:15 a.m. Tuesday, January 30, North Charlotte Street at West Walnut Street

The city police reported that a small, yellow bus, was traveling on Walnut Street and was turning south onto Charlotte Street when it struck the man who was reportedly crossing North Charlotte Street at West Walnut Street.

The victim complained of hip and head pain and was taken to a local hospital where he was treated and released while the driver of the bus fled the scene, police said.

The incident remained under investigation.
