Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Crash on Mount Gretna Road in Mount Joy Township

Mount Joy Township, Pennsylvania (August 31, 2018) – A motorcycle rider was seriously injured Wednesday afternoon in a traffic collision in Mount Joy Township, the police said.

The accident was reported shortly before 12:00 p.m. August 29, in the 800 block of Mount Gretna Road.

According to Northwest Regional Police, the motorcyclist was riding his motorcycle southbound on Mount Gretna Road when they collided with a northbound vehicle which was attempting to turn left into the parking lot of T.J. Rockwell’s American Grill and Tavern.

The impact ejected the unidentified rider from the motorcycle.

No further details regarding the crash were available.
