Douglass Township, Pennsylvania (August 30, 2018) – A man was hospitalized Wednesday evening after a motorcycle accident in eastern Berks County, according to a local news release.

The accident happened just after 6:00 p.m. August 29, on Benjamin Franklin Highway near Squirrel Hollow Road.

As per the release, a motorcycle collided with a pickup truck.

According to witnesses, the rider became under the pickup after the collision.

Police, firefighters along with the neighbors worked together to free the rider.

The rider went to Pottstown Hospital for treatment of his injuries.
