Matthew Davis and Matthew Pisanchyn ID’d as Two Drivers Killed in Scranton Crash on Morgan Highway
Scranton, Pennsylvania (July 30, 2018) – The two drivers who were killed late Friday night in a head-on collision in Scranton have been identified as Matthew Pisanchyn, 29, of South Abington Township, and Matthew Davis, 24, of Newton Township, according to a local news source.
The deadly crash was reported shortly before midnight Friday, July 27 on Morgan Highway.
Police said for unknown reason two vehicles collided head-on on Morgan Highway.
Pisanchyn was taken to Geisinger Community Medical Center where he later succumbed to his injuries.
Davis, who was driving the other vehicle, died at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation by Scranton police.
