John Kellick Killed in West Mead Township Pedestrian Crash on Leslie Road
West Mead Township (January 25, 2018) – A 58-year-old man was struck and killed by a hit-and-run driver early Thursday morning in West Mead Township, according to Pennsylvania State Police.
The accident took place after midnight along Lesley Drive just north of Route 27.
It’s unclear whether the victim, John J. Kellick, 58, of 12878 Raymond Drive, Apt. 2, was walking along or lying in the roadway when he was hit by an unknown vehicle.
Police said Kellick was suffering from a degenerative brain disease and was wearing dark clothing at the time of the accident.
The State Police are investigating to determine the cause of the crash.
