Bethlehem Township, Pennsylvania (July 31, 2018) – A juvenile bicyclist was struck and injured by a driver who failed to remain at the scene on Thursday evening in Bethlehem Township.

According to a report by the Bethlehem Township police, the incident occurred at about 5:45 p.m. July 26 at the intersection of Freemansburg Avenue and 7th Street.

Police said the rider was attempting to cross the intersection when they were hit by a vehicle.

The driver of the vehicle reportedly stopped initially, but then drove off.

The victim was hospitalized with unknown injuries.

The Bethlehem Township police are looking for the hit-and-run driver.
