West Earl Township, Pennsylvania (August 29, 2018) – Three people were injured in a two-vehicle collision on Wednesday morning in West Earl Township, according to police.

The wreck happened on Oregon Pike near Stone Quarry Road shortly after 7 a.m.

Police said a woman driving an SUV southbound on Oregon Pike attempted to make a U-turn and collided with a southbound truck.

The woman and the male driver of the truck were taken to Lancaster General Hospital for treatment.

The male passenger in the truck declined medical attention.

The crash caused a closure of Oregon Pike for approximately two hours as the scene was cleared.

The police are investigating the incident.
