Fairfield Township, Pennsylvania (January 29, 2018) – A collision involving a car and a fuel truck sent one person to a hospital on Monday in Fairfield Township, Westmoreland County, according to a news release from a Westmoreland County reporter.

The accident took place at around 9 a.m. Monday, January 29, along Route 711 near Mt. View Road in Fairfield Township.

According to authorities, the car collided with the fuel truck along Route 711 leaving one person with injuries.

The victim was transported to Excela Health Latrobe hospital for treatment, authorities said.
